Charging, DC power, magnet control

Besides our project work, we build our own equipment: chargers for battery systems, DC power supplies and controls for lifting magnets.

01 · Charging

Industrial charging technology

We build chargers for nickel-cadmium and AGM batteries, using standard charging curves or curves to customer specification. Rated voltages and currents are matched to each battery system.

The units run standalone or connect to a higher-level system through an interface.

Chargers (AGV systems)

  • Charging currents up to 400 A
  • Battery sets up to 220 V
  • Half- or fully controlled bridge circuits (B2 or B6)
  • Uncontrolled bridge circuits also possible

Maintenance chargers

  • Charging and discharging, capacity measurement
  • Maintenance and testing of battery sets
  • Equalising charge at low current
  • Discharge with feedback into the grid
  • Recipe management for different battery sets
  • Supplier to Deutsche Bahn

Lifting magnet control

Magnet controls with and without backup operation: power supplies for electromagnets in various power classes, with de-energising.

The units run standalone or connect to a higher-level system through an interface.

Control

  • Unregulated or regulated design with bridge circuit
  • Or via a digital converter, e.g. Sinamics DCM

Operation

  • Single-magnet and group operation
  • Battery system housed in a standard or custom enclosure
