Bottom ash processing at a waste incineration plant
Cabinets, installation, visualisation and the lighting for the whole site, for a new line that recovers metals from bottom ash — about 10,000 tonnes a year, according to the operator.
Task and solution
The task
A new bottom ash processing plant was built at a waste incineration plant: conveyors, screens, magnetic drums, eddy current separators and air classifiers on several levels. The plant builder needed the complete electrical side.
Our work
We built all control cabinets in our workshop — incomer, frequency converters and safety equipment — and installed them on site. The plant visualisation is ours as well, and we also installed the lighting for the whole site.
Result
The plant has been running since March 2024 and, according to the operator, recovers about 10,000 tonnes of metal a year.
